See a giant golf ball while watching a PGA tournament? Chances are it came from Flatfork.
Our clients are everyone, but the scale of our work is most often commissioned by Advertising Agencies, Design Firms, Set Designers, Interior Designers, Special Effects Supervisors, Art Directors, Production Manager, Prop Designers, Architects, Event Planners, Exhibit Houses, Prop Masters, and many private installations.
We regularly participate in EAST (East Austin Studio Tour) and MakerFaire events and have many of our own projects (that we never seem to finish).
FAITH – Artist, designer, and sculptor Faith Schexnayder loves what she does. A third-generation painter from a long line of artists, this native Austinite dreamed of becoming an artist since childhood, and she has succeeded in making that dream a reality! Faith’s whimsical and engaging work can be seen all over town, such as the giant hamburger on top of the iconic Hilberts Hamburgers, or the super-size mother hen (recognized by Roadside America as a Texas Landmark) standing in Faith’s front yard. Faith specializes in unique pieces that are hand-crafted, old-school style, without the use of computer-aided machines. You can watch this interview by KLRU Collective about Faith’s artwork, or you can find Faith’s work in books like Keep Austin Weird and Wildly Austin, Austin’s Landmark Art or on one of several HGTV programs.
